POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1, two tablets for all budgets

The tablet sector is making a strong comeback and the new POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1, two options with different prices and specifications, have been leaked.

These new POCO tablets will be presented at the end of September, coinciding with the Xiaomi Pad 8 and the REDMI Pad 2 Pro. On the one hand, we will have the POCO Pad X1 focused on a more premium quality and rumored to be a renamed Xiaomi Pad 7 adapted to this sub-brand. In a different sector we will have the POCO Pad M1 that will be more economical and comes to compete with the REDMI Pad, offering a similar experience in power and performance.

Undoubtedly, Xiaomi with all these products seems to want to corner the market competing with itself. We will see how this strategy ends, because we also have quite attractive alternatives from Realme, Lenovo, Huawei and Samsung.

POCO Pad X1, the high-end of POCO

The new POCO Pad X1 will offer us the efficient Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 that reaches up to 2.8 GHz. To compete in price we will have an IPS LCD panel, the size will remain at 12.1″ which is the most demanded today, it is expected to reach 2.5 K with 144 Hz refresh. We will have versions with 8/12 GB LPDDR5X and 256/512 GB UFS 3.1 storage if it follows the usual trend. The expected price is around €499 depending on the version.

POCO Pad M1, capable and more economical

In the POCO Pad M1 we will find a simpler processor such as the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which is still sufficient for home use and fairly demanding games. It is quite possible that it mounts an IPS LCD panel with the same size of 12.1″, 2.5 K resolution and 120 Hz refresh which is what the SoC gives. We have configurations that integrate 6/8 GB LPDDR4X and 128/256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. The final price of this configuration will be around €359.
