New retro console called Powkiddy X45, a more compact version with a screen of only 4.5 inches compared to its big sister Powkiddy X51 that reaches 5″.
This new Powkiddy X45 retro console has an analog control and double rear triggers. Inside we have wireless connectivity and two USB ports designed to connect two external gamepads. At the same time also highlights its external design where we have a 4.5-inch screen with IPS technology. Installed by default we have several emulators such as PS1, CPS1, CPS2, FBA, NEOGEO, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC and FC. We also have miniHDMI video output to connect it to an external screen and see the games in large.
Powkiddy X45 Specifications
This retro console Powkiddy X45 has the well-known Quad Core Actions ATM7051 processor. A chip with 4 ARM Cortex-A9 processors capable of reaching a maximum speed of 900 MHz. As for the graphics section we have a PowerVR SGX540 GPU, a configuration that allows moving 2D emulators optimally, not so much in 3D.
On the board we have 128 MB LPDDR2 memory and 128 MB ROM, an amount of memory that limits us to 2D machines and some PS1 games. By default we have a 64 GB micro SD card used to store the Linux system and numerous games.
Other features of the console
In the retro console we have an IPS screen with a size of 4.5 inches with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. The internal battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh capable of lasting up to 8 hours, we can recharge it through its USB Type-C port.
As for connectors we find two USB 2.0, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a micro SD card reader, micro HDMI video output and for audio we have a simple 0.8 W speaker on the front.
