The new Redmi A7 Pro 5G has hit Asian markets. This budget-friendly smartphone from the popular brand—backed by Xiaomi—includes 5G connectivity despite its low price.
Inside this modest device is the UNISOC T8300 processor, an octa-core chip manufactured on a 6nm process, which scores around 630,000 points on Antutu v11—not bad for a smartphone that costs around €100. This SoC ensures smooth performance at all times across all types of apps and games and is further supported by a 6,300 mAh battery that guarantees solid battery life.
Its body is IP52-certified for dust and water resistance, and the operating system is Android 16 with various AI tools integrated into the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 layer.

Inside this new Redmi smartphone, we find a UNISOC T8300 processor, an octa-core chip manufactured using 6nm EUV technology. This chip features a cluster with two ARM Cortex-A78 cores capable of reaching 2.2 GHz and a second cluster with six ARM Cortex-A55 cores that reach 2.0 GHz. The GPU is a mid-range ARM Mali-G57 MP2 that reaches a peak speed of 950 MHz.
It features 4 or 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM on the motherboard, and for internal storage, it offers 64 or 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card.
Display and connectivity
The Redmi A7 Pro 5G features a 6.9-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. At the top of the display is an 8 MP camera with a microphone, complementing the main 32 MP rear camera with flash. For audio, it features a pair of speakers.
