The new REDMI Pad SE tablet has just been presented, a reduced version in some aspects of the original REDMI Pad that will soon arrive in Europe.
A new tablet that this time uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, inferior to the Mediatek Helio G99 that mounts the REDMI Pad, while the rest of the specifications do not differ too much. The operating system will have the MIUI Pad 14 layer based on Android 13 and at the design level we do not see major changes with a continuous design either. A tablet that will arrive shortly at stores like Amazon at a starting price of €199 in its basic version.
REDMI Pad SE Specifications
The REDMI Pad SE features an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC manufactured in 6 nm by TSMC. It features a fast quad-core cluster with up to 2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold and a power-saving cluster with up to 1.8 GHz Kryo 265 Silver. In addition, this SoC integrates a mid-range Adreno 610 GPU, which allows you to play any current title.
This new Redmi tablet has versions with 4/6/8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMc 5.1 storage memory, expandable through a micro SD card slot on the side.
Display and other features
The REDMI Pad SE has an 11-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels with a refresh rate that reaches 90 Hz and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. The front camera is 5 MP, the rear is 8 MP and in the sound section we have 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certification.
On one of its sides we find a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer and a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect our headphones. We also have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC connectivity and Bluetooth 5.0. The battery is of 8000 mAh with a fast charge of 10 W and the tablet has a weight that remains at 478 grams.

- The new REDMI Pad SE tablet will launch in Europe in the coming weeks at stores like Amazon at a price of €199 in three different colours: Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray and Mint Green.
