PRODUCT DETAILS
Specifications
Package content
The ONIKUMA K6 headphones come in a fairly large box with the product inside a bag, along with them we have a small but complete user manual that tells us the main connection options available.
Description
The new ONIKUMA K6 headphones have a classic design within this sector, are black with touches of blue, has a flexible and rotating microphone arm. The connection meshed cable is 2 meter long with the audio jack and the USB connector for the LEDs. The level of finishes is correct and seems quite resistant, in the upper headband we have a good piece of foam, each earphone has an extension mechanism that allows them to be adjusted.
On the sides of the ONIKUMA K6 we have blue led has a decoration that light up when connecting the USB adapter that we have in the connection cable, it is simply a touch of gaming color. The 50mm headphones have a really comfortable foam padding that has a fairly robust synthetic leather coating, the feel and pressure of these parts are correct and do not tire us in the long term, the weight of 399 grams makes it quite light.
In the ONIKUMA K6 cable we have a volume control system with on/off button for the integrated microphone and volume wheel for the headphones, we can take them to total silence quickly. The 2 meter cable of the helmets has a nice mesh finish, on the audio jack we have an adapter to divide the signals into two jacks if necessary for our device.
TEST AND COMPATIBILITY
The ONIKUMA K6 headphones have improved the specifications with respect to the previous model K5, they have a high volume without distortion to a certain extent thanks to their 50mm speakers, they have good impedance, sensitivity and frequency range, the thick isolation of the pads can has a good level of insulation and are comfortable.
- Speakers: 50mm / Impedance 32Ω / Sensitivity 108dB ± 3dB / Range 20MHz-20KHz
- Microphone: 6 mm / Impedance 2.2K Ω / Sensitivity -38dB ± 3dB / Range 100MHz-16KHz
The microphone behaves quite well and the results are positive although it does not have excellent ranges, according to advertising we have some external noise cancellation system but certainly we have not seen it anywhere. In general the results are correct although for the price as it is logical we can not expect miracles, it is simply decent.
- Compatibility: Xbox one with adapter / PC – Mac / PS4 – Vita / Android – iOS / Nintendo
CONCLUSIONS
Score
Opinion
The headphones ONIKUMA K6 continues with the line of this brand offering a correct product at a contained price as we saw with the previous ONIKUMA K5. The 50mm headphones are quite powerful and the microphone gives acceptable results to be able to speak in a gaming session, the padding of the headphones is especially spongy and isolate us properly. The gaming design is quite attractive and has LED lighting that we can turn off. On the other hand the cable is quite long, we have direct volume and microphone controls in the central control. In general an interesting product for the price, the specifications and the general quality of its construction are acceptable and allow us to play without problems.
