RKM V7P a digital signage stick with WiFi 6 and Rockchip RK3568

New Android TV-Stick for digital signage from Rikomagic called RKM V7P, the successor of its previous RKM V7.

The RKM V7P is an update of the previous version that maintains as core the Rockchip RK3568 SoC, but improves in wireless connectivity with Wifi 6, RAM and storage. A RKM Stick with Android oriented to digital signage, as it is compatible with most touch screens and has functions such as automatic reboot in case of malfunction, screen rotation in 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°, power off/on scheduling and Wake on LAN among others.

As system in the RKM V7P we continue with Android 11 and its USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet connectors, uncommon in this type of Sticks, are maintained.

Specifications of the RKM V7P

The RKM V7P Android stick includes the RK3568 Quad Core SoC from Rockchip. A chip with ARM Cortex-A55 processors of low power consumption and 64 bits that reach up to 1.99 Ghz, with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an NPU for iA with a power of 0.8 TOPS. A SoC very similar to the RK3366 that we have already seen in some review, with some changes that affect the internal storage section, connectivity and some more.

The RAM memory that comes soldered on its small board is 4 GB LPDDR4 and for storage we have 32 GB eMMc.

Other features

In the field of wireless connectivity we have Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The connectors that we have available are not too many, although we must take into account that we are in front of a Stick, we find a USB 3.0 OTG port, a USB 2.0, RJ45 Ethernet Gigabit network port and an HDMI 2.0 video output with support for resolutions up to 4k@60Hz HDR.
