RTX2 a new Android Box with Realtek RTD1325 and 4GB RAM

Today we found on AliExpress a new Android Box called RTX2 that includes an interesting processor to be used in video playback, the Realtek RTD1325.

A Box with a Realtek SoC that will be seen in the world of TV-Boxes and includes support for technologies such as AV1 and video enhancements with AISR and APQ algorithms. Also, noteworthy is the inclusion of 4 GB of RAM, something that will always make everything run more smoothly.

The operating system of the RTX2 is Android TV 14 with integrated Chromecast, full access to the Google app store and is included for use a Bluetooth remote control and microphone with different shortcut keys to streaming apps. It integrates Widevine L1 DRM support for good quality streaming service apps.

Inside this new Android TV-Box we have as engine a Realtek RTD1325 processor. This is a Quad Core chip with Arm Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.7 Ghz and an Arm Mali-G57 MC1 iGPU. Its VPU includes AV1 and HDR10 video decoding.

We have only a single version with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM soldered on board and 32/64 GB of eMMc 5.1 storage that we can expand through a HUB connected to the USB-C port.

In the field of wireless connectivity, this new Android Box has Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. Connectors included are three USB 2.0 ports, RJ45 Gigabit network connector, SPDIF digital audio output, analogue audio and video output and an HDMI 2.1b video interface that can output video up to 8K resolutions.
