Samsung Exynos 7885 a new Octa Core SoC to fight in the mid-range

Samsung presents us a new SoC, an opponent in the mid-range sector with the name Samsung Exynos7 7885. A new Octa Core Chip that reinforces the position of this brand in this range and clearly surpass the recent Exynos5 7872 in all aspects, according to the brand is 85% superior especially at the level of processors, a SoC that aims to the upper segment of the mid-range.

Samsung Exynos7 7885 is manufactured in 14nm FinFET and includes a pair of clusters, the most powerful with two ARM Cortex-A73 processors able to reach 2.2Ghz and a second cluster with six ARM Cortex-A53 processors able to reach 1, 6Ghz The Gpu in this new SoC is a MALI-G71mp2 ARM that supports FullHD+ screens with a resolution of 2220 × 1080 pixels. It also includes support for LPDDR4x RAM memory, eMMc 5.1 storage memory. WiFi dual band WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0 and FM radio. As for the modem we find that it can reach download speeds of up to 600 Mbps and upload up to 150 Mbps. Finally at the camera level the new Exynos includes native support for front and rear camera up to 21.7 MP and dual cameras of up to 16MP + 16MP.
