The SCISHION V88 Mini III is the low cost of today, the typical Chinese mediaplayer in black plastic case and that includes as OS Android 7.1, other models with same SoC already have Android 9.0 by default. Another Box that surely goes through the market without glory and with few ROM updates or none.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Box SCISHION V88 Mini III includes as engine a Rockchip RK3328 SoC with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450 MP2 GPU compatible with native H.265 and VP9 video decoding up to 4K@60fps resolution with support for HLG HDR. We also find 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of expandable eMMc storage memory thanks to a microSD card reader included in the side of the box. A sufficient configuration to move any media player like KODI without problems and most of APPS provided it is not 3D games of last generation.
Other features
At the level of wireless connectivity includes WiFi b/g/n and in terms of connectivity we find a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0, 10/100 network connector, analog audio and video output, SPDIF output and an HDMI port compatible with 2.0a 4K resolutions at 60fps.
