The new Chuwi AuPad tablet has just been presented, a new model that includes a Snapdragon 685 processor, a chip that has been proliferating lately in the tablet market thanks to its good performance and low cost.
Inside its elegant 8 mm thick metal body, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685, is responsible for moving the whole set. With its 440,000 points in Antutu, it is close to the Snapdragon 888 and above the Mediatek Dimensity 8000. An SoC with which we will have no performance problems to run any app and more with the 8 GB of RAM that includes this tablet.
As Android 14 operating system, so we will have a good software life. We will also enjoy the Widevine L1 DRM certificate that allows us to use apps from paid streaming platforms such as Netflix or Max with HD video playback quality, an option to consider if we are going to use these apps.
Chuwi AuPad Specifications
Inside the Chuwi AuPad tablet we have as engine a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC manufactured in 6nm. An Octa Core chip with high-performance ARM Cortex-A73 processors capable of reaching 2.8 GHz, four ARM Cortex-A53 processors with a maximum speed of 1.9 GHz and an Adreno 610 GPU that reaches 614 Mhz. A processor with a power to move apps without issues and games at medium or low level.
The version of this tablet on offer comes with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM soldered on the board and for storage 128 GB UFS 2.2, with the option to expand it up to 512 GB thanks to the micro SD card reader included.
Display and other notable features
The Chuwi AuPad tablet has an IPS screen with a size of 10.95 inches (27.81 cm) with a resolution of 1920×1200, 16:10 aspect ratio and brightness of 350 nits. The front camera is 5 MP, the rear camera is 13 MP and in the sound section we have two microphones and 4 immersive sound speakers.
On the sides, we find its single USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. We also have Wi-Fi 5 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, quad GPS chip, 4G-Lte modem with Dual SIM and the battery is 7000 mAh with 18 W fast charging.
