We found today in stores the new mix of tablet and mini PC called SZBOX S9, an original device that can be used for multiple purposes thanks to its features.
This tablet with integrated mini PC has a 7-inch touch screen and HD resolution with which we can use Windows 11 without having to connect a keyboard or mouse. It is not the ideal resolution for working with a word processor, but it is sufficient for many data entry or system management applications. It is also possible to connect up to two other external displays via the HDMI and full USB-C port on the sides.
A machine that offers us a robust aluminum case resistant in harsh environments. In addition, we have Wifi 6 network and an IntelN200 processor with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM that we have seen in some review.
SZBOX S9 Specifications
This mini PC has a little extended processor, the Intel N200 manufactured in 10 nm. An integrated with four cores and four threads of execution that reach up to 3.7 GHz. For the graphics section we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 32 EU compatible with VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This is a hardware that due to its low power consumption is ideal for use without worrying about its temperatures.
This rugged tablet has 16 GB of LPDDR5 4800 MHz RAM on board. In the storage section includes an SSD up to 512 GB / 1 TB GB M.2 2242 SATA/NVMe that we can easily expand by adding another of greater capacity.
Display and other notable features
The screen of the SZBOX S9 has a 7-inch touch IPS panel with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It also includes Wifi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and a 7.6V 3400 mAh battery. In terms of connectors, we have a full USB-C port, another USB-C charging port, three USB-A 3.2, a USB-A 2.0 HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and a 3.5 mm audio jack. For audio we have 4 speakers and has a microphone on its side.
The OS installed is Windows 11 Pro, but we could also install Linux in any of its distributions. In the rear area we have a support flap to put it on the table.
