Today we have a new mini PC called T-Bao R3 that serves as a NAS server thanks to its extensive internal storage options.
Inside this computer that we can use as NAS and router we have capacity to accommodate two 3.5″ disks, ideal for storing Terabytes of data. As engine, we have a powerful Ryzen 5 5500U processor manufactured in 7 nm FinFET with Zen 2 architecture, also integrates a Radeon RX Vega 7 GPU that allows us to run multiple games in 1080p resolution. A system also has a very attractive design that we can put anywhere without clashing too much.
This computer is a new version of the previous Topton N1 with fewer Ethernet ports, internal changes and as we see a fairly substantial processor improvement.
Specifications of the T-Bao R3 mini PC
The T-Bao R3 includes a powerful AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor manufactured in 7nm. A chip that has six Zen 2 CPU cores with 12 threads with a speed up to 4 GHz. In the graphics section, we have a Radeon RX Vega 7 GPU that will allow us to play demanding games with the appropriate settings. In the lower area we have a large lower fan that evacuates air through the top and another side fan dedicated to the CPU.
Inside the case we have 8/16/32 GB of 3200 MHz Dual Channel RAM installed in its 2 SODIMM slots. For storage we find two M.2 NVMe 2280 SSDs up to 2 TB. Apart we have space for two 3.5-inch storage drives with SATA3 interface, these disks are not included.
Other features
In the connectivity section, we have a wireless Wifi 6 + Bluetooth 5.0 adapter and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. As connectors, we find two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0, a USB-C, audio jack and micro SD slot. In addition, we have two video outputs with HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 that allow resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.
The installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro and we have a small external power supply.

Tried to install xpenology, don’t visible on LAN after boot, but can compile, reboot, get ip, etc etc, tried to install openwrt and istore OS, can’t reach in LAN, tried to flash bios with afuwin, it can’t flash. But rockstor, omv, truenas, win11 works good. What i can do too?
