Today we found in the online store Aliexpress a new interesting mini PC called Topton NAS N1. A small computer that also serves as a NAS to store all our files.
This computer has a box designed to store inside two 3.5″ disk drives, so we can store teras of multimedia without complex (watch them is another thing). This small computer Topton NAS N1 also serves as a complete mini PC, thanks to its outputs we can connect it to our living room TV and use it as a player directly or to a monitor to work with it. As an operating system we can install a Linux distribution, OpenWRT and even Windows.

This mini PC Topton NAS N1 offers us the AMD Athlon Silver 3050E APU, a Dual Core with four threads that reaches up to 2.8GHz. A processor sufficient for multimedia and light desktop use that has a TPD consumption of only 6 W, certainly low, something that avoids a high bill and a noisy cooling system.
In the graphics section we have a Radeon Vega 3 GPU that reaches up to 1GHz speed, a well-known graphics and solid drivers that allows us to use it without problems in Windows and supports HDR. You can see its performance in this Review.
For RAM we have two SODIMM DDR4 modules expandable up to 32 GB. For storage we have a M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD slot up to 1TB ideal for the OS and apps. In addition, inside the box we are allowed to mount two 3.5″ SATA 3.0 storage drives with support up to 40 TB.
Other features
This Topton NAS TP-N1 includes for connectivity four Gigabit Ethernet ports for use as a router. There are also two USB 3.0 connectors on the back of the case, another USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0 video outputs with 4K@60fps HDR support, 3.5 mm audio jack and finally a power connector. It does not have internal Wi-Fi module, but it could be added via USB, we have Wake On Lan support and Auto Power ON system if we have power failure.
We can install operating systems such as Linux, OpenWRT, iKuai, LEDE or even Windows 11 if we want to use it with more conventional desktop apps. A computer that in addition to NAS, can also be used to play multimedia, IPTV, KODI addons, SAMBA server or run light arcade emulators.
