New Low Cost Android TV-Box that we found in Chinese online stores equipped with the cheapest SoC of Amlogic the S905W. This time the Box is called T95 S2 and it is still another Chinese box with the boring quadrangular design that inside it hides a very simple hardware configuration, just to run KODI and watch streaming in basic qualities. In short, another box with support surely non-existent and not recommended, it is better to look at our recommended models that have support and have been tested.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Box T95 S2 has as central engine the cheapest SoC of Amlogic, the S905W that integrates in its interior four cores CPU ARM Cortex-A53 able to reach up to 1.5GHz and a GPU Mali-450mp5 that decodes video up to 4K@30fps resolutions. It is available in two versions with 1/2GB of RAM and 8/16GB of eMMc storage memory, a very limited memory configuration, although we can extend the latter thanks to the microSD card reader included in one side.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity this cheap box only has Wi-Fi b/g/n with internal antenna, the usual in these teams. As connectors we have an HDMI 2.0a interface, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, an analog A / V output and a 10/100 network connector distributed on the sides of the black plastic case.
The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and it is also delivered with an IR remote control, a power adapter with the right adapter for our region and an HDMI cable.
