New Smart Box called T95 with Allwinner H616 SoC, which we found on AliExpress, a chip that did not leave a good taste in our mouths in its review.
A generic Chinese Box where the novelties are conspicuous by their absence and that has a small front LED screen and Android 10 as the operating system. The T95 only stands out in the RAM and storage section, since it has at least 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 128 GB of storage.
A Box that can be useful as a multimedia player by installing the KODI mediaplayer or to use all kinds of Apps including games, emulators and others. To use it with paid streaming apps, it is not the best option, since it is limited to low resolution in most services as it does not have any of the necessary certificates.
T95 Specs
The Box T95 includes the Quad Core Allwinner H616 SoC manufactured in 28nm. A Chip that integrates ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.8 Ghz and an ARM Mali-G31mp2 GPU with support for OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan.
We have the variants with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 128 GB of eMMc storage memory available on offer for this Smart Box. We can expand the storage thanks to the micro SD card slot that it includes on one of its sides where we can theoretically insert up to 64 GB capacity cards.
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity, we have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As for connectors, we find in its plastic case not too many options with 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 network connector, analog audio and video output jack and an HDMI 2.0a video output port.
With the accessories, we also find an IR remote control to be able to start using this Smart TV-Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
