T95MAX another Chinese media player with Allwinner H618 SoC

New Smart Box that we found on AliExpress with the recent Allwinner H618 SoC called T95MAX. An entry range that only stands out for its psychotropic decoration.

A TV-Box that includes the new Allwinner H618 SoC, a minimal evolution of the Allwinner H616 that seems to only provide compatibility with Android 12. An entry-level box for its hardware, since this time we don’t even have Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, something that we had seen in other boxes that mount this Allwinner processor.

In short, another box with Android valid for running apps and using it as a 4K media player for those of you who don’t have too many demands.

T95MAX Specifications

Inside the Smart Box T95MAX we have an Allwinner H618 SoC of which we do not know its manufacturing process and other details. This is a chip that integrates 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU.

We have different versions of this Smart Box with 1/2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 8/16/32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card slot that it includes on one of its sides.

Other features

In the field of wireless connectivity, we have dual-band Wi-Fi AC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. As connectors, we find in its plastic case 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 network connector, an analogue audio and video output jack and an HDMI 2.0a video output port that allows us to output video in up to 4K@60fps resolutions.

A simple infrared remote control, power supply and HDMI cable are delivered with the T95MAX to be able to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
