The T96Q Pro is another Smart Box that joins the collection of low-end devices for multimedia playback that we can find on AliExpress.
A Box that basically stands out for the inclusion of Android 11, since the rest of its hardware is very modest and in fact does not even include Bluetooth. Inside we have the Rockchip RK3318 quad-core SoC that is able to output video up to 4K UHD resolutions and move KODI relatively well. As always forget about watching content from paid platforms in high quality video because this Chinese Box does not have any kind of certificate.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Smart Box T96Q Pro integrates as engine the Rockchip RK3318 SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5Ghz and a Mali-450 MP5 GPU that includes native decoding of H.265 and VP9 video up to 4K@60fps resolutions with support for HDR.
Versions are available with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand by adding a memory card in the SD card reader that we see on the side of the box.
Other specifications
In the field of wireless connections this TV-Box has only Wifi b/g/n and lacks Bluetooth. On the sides of the box we have a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0 port, 10/100 network connector, 3.5mm jack for analog audio and video, a SPDIF digital audio output connector and an HDMI 2.0a interface that allows video resolutions up to 4K@60fps quality. A simple IR remote control and all cables are included to get you up and running right out of the box.
