Teclast M18 a 10.8-inch with 2.5K screen and 4G-Lte connectivity

We already have a new tablet from the Chinese Teclast brand available, this time with a 10.8-inch screen size that is called Teclast M18.

This new tablet that has just gone on sale stands out for its metal body that hides a pair of speakers and especially for its IPS screen from SHARP with 2.5K resolution that guarantees good visibility. The Teclast M18 also has 4G-Lte connectivity, and we can turn it into a small computer by attaching a mini keyboard thanks to its magnetic connector. Another option within this market, although this Teclast lags behind in terms of operating system, since it has Android 8.0.

SoC, RAM and storage

The Teclast M18 includes a Helio X27 SoC, a Deca Core with three clusters, one with 2 ARM Cortex-A72 CPUs capable of reaching 2.6 GHz, another with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 that reach 2 GHz and a third with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 with 1.6 GHz maximum speed. The GPU is an ARM Mali-T880 MP4, and we also have 4 GB of DDR3L RAM and 128 GB of storage memory integrated on the board that we can expand thanks to the included micro SD card reader if they seem little to us.

A hardware configuration with which Android will flow seamlessly and with which we can run any current 3D game at full resolution, even the demanding PUBG.

Display and other features

The screen of the Teclast M18 is a 10.8-inch IPS with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels manufactured by SHARP that includes a 5 MP Webcam with microphone on the top and another 13 MP camera on the back. It also includes stereo speakers, Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 8000 mAh battery and 4G-LTE modem with DUAL SIM. In the field of connectivity we have a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port and a magnetic keyboard connector. The installed operating system is Android 8.0.
