Teclast M40 Pro 2023 now with 8 GB of RAM and Android 12

Teclast is updating a large part of its tablets, and today we present the recent Teclast M40 Pro 2023, a 10.1-inch device that receives some interesting improvements.

A tablet that maintains the design of its original version with a metallic body, but that receives an update, since its RAM is increased to 8 GB from 6 GB, the storage memory gains speed with 128 GB UFS 2.1. Other improvements that we have in the Teclast M40 Pro 2023 are the jump to Android 12 as the operating system and the presence of a new Unisoc T616 processor, although this does not present major differences with respect to the Unisoc T618 that the original model had.

The price increases, although we expect it to be temporary and to drop substantially in the coming weeks.

Specifications of the Teclast M40 PRO 2023

The new Teclast M40 Pro 2023 tablet includes a UNISOC T616 processor manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 750Mhz. Enough for simple games and also those of demanding medium quality ones.

We also have 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 high-speed storage memory integrated into the board that we can expand up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader included on the side.

Display and other features

The touch screen of the Teclast M40 Pro 2023 is a 10.1-inch IPS with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and quite small side frames. At the top of the screen, we have a 5 MP camera with a microphone that complements the 8 MP rear.

This tablet integrates a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with a Dual SIM tray, Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 7000 mAh battery that theoretically allows us to watch up to 8 hours of video and four Momentum System II speakers.

In terms of connectivity, we have a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging or data and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
