New tablet presented with the name of Teclast P20, which will be a cheaper version than the current Teclast 20HD, since it cuts its RAM memory to 2 GB and the screen goes to HD + resolution. The aesthetics of the top model are maintained with a metal body, Android 10 as OS, dark mode and gesture navigation.
Despite the cutback in RAM, we still have the interesting Unisoc SC9863A SoC that we saw in detail in the review of the Teclast P80X tablet and that lately is having great success in tablets. A tablet that calls for its aesthetics with a metallic body and for having two cameras with a higher quality than usual.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new Teclast P20 integrates as its engine the Unisoc SC9863A SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 28 nm with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.8 GHz of maximum speed + 4 that reach 1.2 GHz, while the GPU is a PowerVR IMG8322. We also have 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of storage memory built into the board that we can expand thanks to the included micro SD card reader.
Display and other specifications
As for its screen, the Teclast P20 has a 10.1-inch IPS with an HD + resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels and 2.5D curved glass that rounds out its design. The screen includes a 2 MP camera with microphone at the top that complements the rear 5 MP with flash. We also have a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with a tray for Dual SIM, Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM Radio and a 6000 mAh battery with fast charge that theoretically allows us to see up to 6 hours of video playback.
In the connectivity section we have a 3.5 mm audio jack on one side and a USB Type-C for data and battery recharging. The audio section also seems somewhat more careful than usual with the PureSound system with two speakers at the bottom.
