The Teclast brand does not stop presenting new tablets in recent weeks and today it is the turn of the Teclast P20S, a 10.1-inch tablet that seems to have a low price.
This is a tablet that stands out externally for its metal body and in terms of software to include Android 12 as operating system. As engine has opted for a mid-range SoC as is the Mediatek Helio P22, manufactured in 12 nm very common in smartphones and with a proven solvency within its range.
The rest of its specifications point to the entry level with a screen with a resolution that remains at only 1280×800 pixels, something fair for the times and more considering that we are in front of a 10.1″ screen.
Teclast P20S tablet specifications
The Teclast P20S tablet includes a Helio P22 SoC manufactured in 12nm. An Octa Core chip with ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 2.0Ghz while the GPU is a PowerVR GE8320 capable of reaching a maximum speed of 650Mhz. A processor sufficient to move the usual apps, multimedia consumption and occasional game.
The RAM is 4GB LPDDR4X and the storage is 64GB, expandable with a micro SD card up to 1TB. A decent configuration that will allow Android to move smoothly, demanding 3D games if they can be somewhat slow unless we lower the level of detail.
Screen and other features
The screen is a 10.1-inch IPS with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels, at the top we find a 2 MP camera complemented by the rear, Samsung branded, with 5 MP flash. We also have Wifi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 6000 mAh battery, a pair of PureSound speakers and 4G-LTE modem with Dual SIM. In terms of connectors we have a USB Type-C for charging / data and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Price and availability
- The new Teclast P20S is currently not for sale and we do not know its starting price, although we hope it will not be very high given its features.
