Teclast P30, cheap tablet with Android 14 & DRM Widevine L1

The Teclast P30 is a new entry-level tablet that is added to the extensive catalogue of this brand, a tablet with a very modest configuration.

This 10.1-inch tablet is powered by the entry-level Allwinner A523 SoC, an Octa Core with ARM Cortex-A55 processors. A chip that can work well for home use of multimedia and internet and has a fairly low score of about 160,000 points in Antutu 9. The installed operating system is Android 14, and includes Widevine L1 DRM certificates to watch Amazon Prime Video, Max, and other streaming services in Full HD quality.

A tablet that at least has a fairly neat external design with metal details and some quite colorful version.

Teclast P30 Specifications

The Teclast P30 tablet is powered by the Allwinner A523 processor manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core with ARM Cortex-A55 processors with low power consumption and 64 bits that reach up to 1.4 Ghz. As a graphics solution we have a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU and a dedicated NPU for the iA, a system that will allow you to play titles well at moderate settings.

We also have 4 GB of RAM integrated on the motherboard (expandable to 10 GB with virtual). The storage memory is 64 GB that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader included on the side with cards up to 1 TB.

Other notable features

On the front we have a touchscreen IPS display with a size of 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and a brightness of 300 Nits. It also includes a 2 MP front camera with microphone that complements the 5 MP rear camera supported by a 0.3 MP secondary camera and an LED flash.

This tablet surprises us with wireless connectivity Wifi 6 Bluetooth 5.4. In the autonomy section, the Teclast P30 has a 6000 mAh battery that will give us about 6 hours of use with conventional charging 5V 2A. In terms of connectors we find a USB Type-C 2.0 port for data and battery charging and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also has two stereo speakers for audio.
