Teclast T40 PRO 2023 is updated with Android 12 and Unisoc T616

We already have the new Teclast T40 Pro 2023 in stores, a renewed version of the Teclast T40 Pro that updates its SoC and operating system to Android 12, among others.

This new version repeats the external design, where its aluminium body and screen with good resolution and specifications stand out. Inside we have the most obvious improvements with faster UFS 2.1 storage memory and a new Unisoc T616 processor. This is a Chip very similar to the Unisoc T618 that the previous version mounted and that has a very similar level of performance, although with a slightly lower consumption.

There are few novelties in the new Teclast T40 Pro 2023, a tablet suitable for home use, with sufficient hardware for multimedia and gaming and a fairly large battery that incorporates 18W fast charging, something that is always appreciated.

Teclast T40 PRO 2023 Specifications

The new Teclast T40 Pro 2023 tablet includes a UNISOC T616 manufactured in 12 nm as a processor. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 750Mhz. Enough for simple games and also those of demanding medium quality ones.

We also have 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 high-speed storage memory integrated into the board that we can expand up to 1TB thanks to the micro SD card reader included on the side.

Display and other features

The touch screen of the Teclast T40 Pro 2023 is a 10.36-inch IPS TDDI (display on a layer) with a 2K resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, brightness of 350 nits and that incorporates light and proximity sensors. At the top of the screen, we have an 8 MP camera with two microphones that complements the 13 MP rear camera with flash.

This tablet integrates a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with a Dual SIM tray, Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 7000 mAh battery with fast charging of up to 18W and four speakers. In terms of connectivity, we repeat a single USB Type-C port for data and battery recharging from the previous version.
