We have available in stores the Teclast T50 2023 a new version of the Teclast T50 with different changes in hardware and software.
A new version where the processor is changed from the UNIISOC T618 to an inferior one such as the T616, a negative change. On the other hand, the Teclast T50 2023 receives changes in the audio, since the number of speakers is doubled, jumping to 4. Also, this time the Widevine L1 certificate is included, so we can watch paid Streaming in 1080p quality, an interesting addition.
The operating system is Android 12 although in some places we have seen it advertised with Android 13 and the 11″ screen remains fortunately unchanged.
Teclast T50 2023 Specifications
The Teclast T50 2023 tablet is powered by a 12nm UNISOC T616 chip. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 750 Mhz. Sufficient for simple games and also for demanding games in medium quality.
On board we find 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM (8 GB of virtual extra RAM) and for storage we have 128/256 GB of UFS 2.1 memory that we can expand by the micro SD card reader up to 128 GB extra.
Display and other highlights
This tablet has a 10.95-inch IPS touchscreen with TDDI technology, which features light sensor, has a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, maximum brightness of 350 nits and a screen refresh of 120Hz. In the upper frame of the screen, we have an 8 MP camera that complements the rear SONY 20 MP camera with integrated flash. For audio, we have two microphones with noise cancellation and 4 speakers.
The Teclast T50 2023 has Wi-Fi aC wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G-LTe modem with Dual SIM, GPS and a 7500 mAh battery that theoretically lets us watch up to 8 hours of video. In terms of connectivity, we have a single USB Type-C port for data and 18 W fast PD recharging of the internal battery.
