We can already find in stores the new version of this 2024 Teclast T60 large screen tablet that is updated its configuration with a new Unisoc T620 processor and more things
The new UNISOC T620, is basically an update of the well-known UNISOC T616 with clock improvements in its ARM Cortex-A75 cores and GPU, something that we will surely notice basically when using games. We also find in this update a better screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and 8 GB of RAM (previously 60 Hz and 6 GB of RAM). Two quite important improvements, especially the higher screen refresh in a tablet oriented to the consumption of movies and series, thanks to its 12 inches.
The operating system is Android 14, and now we have the Widevine L1 certificate, so we will be able to watch the main paid streaming apps in 1080p video quality, such as Netflix. Another interesting update that the previous model with Unisoc T616 did not have.
Teclast T60 (2024) tablet specifications
The new Teclast T60 tablet is powered by a UNISOC T620 processor manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.2 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz. Enough for simple games and also for demanding games in medium quality.
Soldered on the board, we find 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM that can be expanded with 12 GB extra virtually using the storage memory. For storage, we have 256 GB of eMMc memory that we can expand by the micro SD card reader up to 1 TB additional.
Display and other notable features
This tablet has a large 12-inch IPS InCell TDDI touchscreen with reduced bezels, a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, 90 Hz refresh and includes light and proximity sensors. On the top frame of the screen, we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements the main 13 MP rear camera with integrated flash.
The new version of the Teclast T60 features Wi-Fi aC wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G-LTe modem with Dual SIM and GPS. Inside we have an 8000 mAh battery that theoretically lets us watch almost up to 9 hours of online video and has 18 W PD fast charging.
In terms of connectivity we have a single USB Type-C port for data and for sound we have four speakers and Smart K amplifier.
