It seems that new TV-Boxes are appearing on sale again, in this case we find the Transpeed X4-100 that integrates the powerful Amlogic S905X4 SoC that seems to recover some market share with respect to the popular S905W2.
This Smart Box with Android 11 has a very similar configuration to other similar devices. In this device we have up to 4 GB of RAM is able to decode the AV1 codec thanks to the presence of the latest generation SoC. This is an Android Box suitable for use as a media player, with KODI or similar, to run games and many emulators. It is little suitable for use with paid streaming platforms, due to the fact that it does not have certificates to display them in the best video quality, for that we have other alternatives.

Transpeed X4-100 Specifications
The Box Transpeed X4-100 includes as engine the AMlogic S905X4 processor, a Quad Core manufactured in 12 nm with low power ARM Cortex-A55 processors that theoretically reach 2 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The VPU includes 4K@60fps, HDR, HDR10 and HLG support.
In the store we have different versions with 2/4 GB of on-board soldered DDR3 RAM, 16/32/64/128 GB of eMMc storage to choose from and a micro SD card reader where we can connect up to 64 GB cards to expand the internal memory.
Other features
In the wireless connectivity section, all versions of this new Android Box have dual-band Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0. The connectors included on the sides of its plastic case are a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, 3.5 mm analog audio and video output connector, SPDIF digital audio output, RJ45 Ethernet 10/100 interface to connect via cable and an HDMI 2.1 video output that can output video up to 8K resolutions.
As usual, HDMI cable, power supply and a basic IR remote control are included to be able to use this Box from the first moment, although we have different options with other remote controls, paying a fairly low extra.
