Ulefone Armor Pad Lite an 8" ruggedized tablet with Android 13 Go

We have more and more rugged tablet options on the market, such as the Ulefone Armor Pad Lite that celebrates its global launch.

This is a small format tablet, as it has an 8-inch screen with a brightness of 500 nits that make it suitable for outdoor use. Inside we have a very modest Quad Core processor as is the Mediatek MT8766B, although luckily we have a light version of Android as OS, specifically Android 13 Go Edition. In addition to the many software tools specific to this type of tablet, we should highlight a mode for use with gloves, a programmable key on the side and NFC connectivity.

As usual in this type of tablets in the Ulefone Armor Pad Lite we have the IP68, IP69K and military MIL-STD-810H certifications that guarantee its survival and use in the harshest circumstances.

Ulefone Armor Pad Lite Specifications

The Ulefone Armor Pad Lite tablet includes as its heart a Mediatek MT8766B SoC manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz and a PowerVR GE8300 GPU.

We also have integrated on the motherboard 3 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (3 GB additional with virtual RAM) and 32 GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader included on one side with cards up to 1 TB.

Other notable features

The touchscreen IPS display of this tablet has a size of 8 inches with an HD resolution of 1280×800 pixels, with a brightness of 500 nits and 16:10 aspect ratio. It also includes a 5 MP front camera with microphone that complements the 13 MP rear camera with LED flash. Finally, we have fingerprint reader integrated in the power button, wireless connectivity, wifi aC, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, FM radio and stereo speakers for audio.

We have for the Ulefone Armor Pad Lite a 7650 mAh battery that will give us about 7 hours of use with conventional charging 5V 2A. As for connectors, we find a USB Type-C 2.0 port for data and battery charging, 3.5 mm audio jack and a uSmart expansion connector.
