Today we present the new VideoStrong KW1, a device designed to control an intelligent hotel, advertising system or smart home devices.
This new system allows us to control thanks to the ZigBee software an infinite number of smart home devices, a universal platform of very easy to configure and program. In addition, this system offers us compatibility with OTT, DVB and AIOT to distribute video to all our customers in a comfortable way. The hardware is also powerful and flexible in its configuration with remote network access.
As operating system we have Android, so we can use a lot of apps and services compatible with this software.
VideoStrong KW1 main features
As we can see, the VideoStrong KW1 offers a lot of connection options and management services. Inside this box we find that it adopts the Amlogic hardware solution based on the Android system, the system can be customized by software providers of a smart hotel or other service to perform automated tasks efficiently.
In terms of connectivity, we have DVB and OTT system to provide content signals via antenna or online. We also have ZigBee 3.0 support (Z-Wave optional) through network connection, Bluetooth or IR, a system that is very easy to manage and has great compatibility with many devices.
With the ZigBee remote control system we can manage systems such as electronic locks, curtains, lighting systems and air conditioners, among others. In addition, it is possible to distribute different DVB T/C or OTT content from our region through the HDMI output that is offered.
VideoStrong KW1 Technical Specifications
As processor, we have an Amlogic SoC with four Cortex-A55 cores that integrates an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU up to 4K@60fps 10bit with OpenGL ES 3.2, AV1, VP9, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 and HLG support. It is available with 2/4 GB RAM options, for storage we have variants with 16/32/64 GB.
This device has three USB connections, SPDIF optical audio output, audio jack, HDMI 2.0 output, micro SD reader, AV jack, MPI port, Ethernet 100 connector, Ethernet 1000 connector, RF IN port and antenna output. As for wireless connection, we have Wi-Fi aC 2T2R with two external antennas and Bluetooth 5.0. Optionally, we can also request a 4G modem to connect the system via mobile network.
The operating system is Android 11, has support for OTA updates and other online maintenance remotely. The dimensions are 220 x 142 x 29 mm and the weight is 300 g.
