With the name of Vivibright J20 we find today a new Android projector with FullHD native resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) with which we can enjoy a good image quality. This projector has Android but it seems that it is quite basic in specifications in that aspect and perhaps it will be better to add an external miniPC or TV-box to be able to playback heavy formats.
Projector specifications
The Vivibright J20 projector uses DLP technology with a Texas Instruments 0.33 DMD panel with a native FHD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, a brightness of up to 1000 ANSI Lumens and a contrast of 30000:1. This model integrates a 5700mAh battery to give it some autonomy and we can get a screen that goes between 30″ and 300″ with a projection distance between 1.2 and 6.8m. As usual in some projectors, this includes front, rear and ceiling projection modes.
SoC, RAM and Storage
This projector mounts two processors on the one hand an MstarTM V56 to control the projector and on the other an Amlogic S905X Quad Core SoC that controls the Android section, unfortunately it only integrates 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, in addition as OS we have Android 6.0 something quite old. In terms of connectivity we find two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, 10/100 Ethernet port, component video output and SPDIF connector. In addition to the cables, we also find an infrared remote control.
