The well-known Vivo brand has just presented its first tablet in China, the Vivo Pad. An 11-inch that points ways in the mid-range thanks to its good features.
It stands out above its powerful Octa Core Snapdragon 870 processor that has already fully entered the world of tablets and that surpasses the Snapdragon 860 of the Xiaomi Pad 5. The tablet is completed by 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 high-speed memory and a photographic section much more careful than normal. Its 11-inch high-resolution screen seems to be of good quality, although an AMOLED would surely have been a better fit for the general hardware of this new Vivo.
The operating system of the Vivo Pad is Android 12 with the Vivo OriginOS HD layer, its weight starts at 489 grams and its thickness is 7mm. At the moment it is only available in China and we do not know if we will have a global version of this interesting tablet.
Vivo Pad Specs
The Vivo Pad includes the powerful Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC manufactured in 7nm. This Chip reaches up to 3.2 GHz in one of its ARM Cortex-A77 cores, it has three other ARM Cortex-A77 cores at a lower speed and four ARM Cortex-A55 low-power CPUs. In the graphic section we have an Adreno 650 GPU with OpenGL 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 support.
This tablet includes 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and options with 128/256 GB of UFS 3.1 high-speed storage memory.
Other features
The Vivo Pad tablet has a 10.95-inch IPS screen, 2.5K resolution (2560×1600) with DCI-P3 color gamut and a refresh rate that reaches 120Hz. The front camera is 8 MP and includes a 3D ToF Sensor for facial recognition. On the back we have two cameras, an 8 MP wide angle and a 13 MP main one with a small LED flash. In the audio section, we have 4 speakers compatible with Dolby Vision Atmos.
We also have a USB Type-C 3.1 port, 3.5 mm audio jack, 4-pin connector for optional keyboard, Wi-Fi 6 AX connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. The battery is, 8040 mha and has a fast charge of 44W.
Price and availability
- The Vivo Pad tablet is currently only available in China for about €360 to change. Soon we will surely have it for sale in AliExpress and other Chinese stores.
