The new Onn 4K Pro Streaming Device 2026 is now available at select Walmart stores. This new media player features an upgraded processor but offers slightly reduced performance in some areas.
This Onn is an update to the popular Onn 4K Pro (2023), which now features the Amlogic S905X5M Quad-Core processor, more powerful than its predecessor, the Amlogic S905X4, particularly due to its GPU. Notable new features include the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 for faster speeds, as well as support for the Threads protocol for home automation a good feature if you’re interested in that aspect. On the downside, it now features USB 2.0 instead of USB 3.0, and it still uses a 100Mbps Ethernet port instead of a gigabit one.
This hardware retains its active microphone function for voice commands without a remote. The operating system is Google TV, and it has DRM certificates to stream Netflix 4K and similar services like Prime Video, HBO, and Disney in high quality. This new Onn 4K Pro 2026 features the Amlogic S905X5M processor, manufactured ona 6nm process. It integrates ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a performance of 30K DMIPS and a new ARM Mali-G310 V2 iGPU. It also supports native decoding of H.265,AVS2,VP9, and AV1 codecs at resolutions up to 4K@75fps 10-bit, compatible with HLG and HDR10 technologies.
There is a single version of this box with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of eMMC storage. If you want to expand the storage, you can use the USB port located on the back of the box.

In terms of wireless connectivity, the Walmart Onn 4K Pro Streaming Device 2026 includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The connectors included on the plastic case are a USB 2.0 port, a USB-C port (functioning as a DC port), a 100 Mbps Ethernet port, a mute button for the built-in microphone, and an HDMI 2.0 video output supporting up to 4K@75 Hz resolution. The system is also compatible with Dolby Vision and Atmos.
Included are a power adapter, AAA batteries, an HDMI cable, and a Bluetooth remote control featuring a microphone for issuing commands via Google Assistant and possibly an infrared sensor. You can also conveniently cast content to Chromecast from your smartphone.
