New Smart Boxes equipped with the Allwinner H603 SoC that we recently saw in a review of a similar device, the direct heir of the Allwinner H6 Chip, that this time surprises us with the presence of a USB Type-C port. We do not know if you will have support for video, data or power. This new Box is called X96 M and since we have Android 9.0 and low-end specifications, it is special in WiFi.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Box X96 M includes the Allwinner H603 SoC, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reaches 1.8Ghz and an ARM Mali-T720mp2 GPU capable of processing video up to 4K resolutions at 60fps and 6K at 30fps. It also has 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64 GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to the included microSD card reader.
Other specifications
This box comes with wireless WiFi b/g/n connectivity although it lacks Bluetooth (XR819 chip). The connectors include a 10/100 network interface, SPDIF digital audio output, a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0, a USB Type-C port, an HDMI 2.0 video output and an analog audio and video connector.
