We found on AliExpress the new TV-Box with Android X96 M300 that looks like nothing more than a X96 M200 in a box with a different design.
This “new” TV-Box includes the recent processor Amlogic S905X5M manufactured in 6 nm and which is quite more powerful than its predecessor, the Amlogic S905X4. An increase in power that is noticeable in the new Mali-G310 V2 GPU that doubles its graphics power, as you can see in our review. The rest of the specifications do not vary from the M200 with a Gigabit network port and Wi-Fi 5 connectivity.
The operating system is Android 14 and as usual in this type of box does NOT have DRM certificates for Netflix and the like as if we have in the new Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen that uses the same SoC. A powerful Box valid for use with all kinds of apps, games, emulators and local playback up to 4K resolution.
X96 M300 Specifications
The Quad Core Amlogic S905X5M processor manufactured in 6 nm is in charge of driving this Android TV-Box. This chip integrates ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a power of 30K DMIPS and a new ARM Mali-G310 V2 iGPU. We have support for native decoding of H.265, AVS2, VP9 and AV1 codecs with resolutions up to 4K@75fps 10 bit, compatible with HLG and HDR10 technologies.
We have different versions of this Box with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64/128 GB of eMMc storage. If we want to expand the memory, we can use the included microSD card reader.

On the wireless connectivity front, the X96 M300 comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity. Connectors included in the plastic box are two USB 2.0 ports, gigabit network port, SPDIF digital audio output and an HDMI 2.1a video output with support for up to 4K@60 FPS resolutions.
Power supply, HDMI cable to connect to the TV and a remote control with microphone and shortcut keys to different streaming apps are included.
