A new Chinese Android Box equipped with the recent Amlogic S928X five-core processor, the X96 X10, is now available for sale.
A Box that substantially lowers the price we saw for the UGOOS AM8, also equipped with the AMlogic S928X, although this time we also have a version with no less than 8 GB of RAM. An amount of memory that seems a bit overkill for most mortals. The operating system unfortunately seems to continue to be Android 11, although we assume that it will make the leap to Android 13 shortly.
From the rest of its hardware highlight its Wi-Fi 6 connectivity with external antenna and regarding certifications note that as always in most Chinese boxes we will not be able to view paid streaming services in high quality

Price and availability
- The new X96 X10 with Amlogic S928X processor can be purchased on AliExpress from about €119.91 / $97 with free shipping.
I made the mistake of buying this box. The OS installed does not give access to the upper Notification bar nor the lower Taskbar. What is the point of having a powerful processor and 8GB of memory if you can’t multi-task?
