X96 X6 another Smart Box with the new Rockchip RK3566 and up to 8GB of RAM

New Chinese Box that appears by AliExpress based on the Rockchip RK3566 SoC, recently launched and called X96 X6.

This Smart Box is a little more careful in the field of external design than those we have seen so far, since it has an aluminium box that favors cooling and an external antenna to improve wireless connectivity. The rest of the configuration of the X96 X6 does not differ too much from other boxes based on the RK3566 chip, since we have Android 11 as OS, Gigabit Ethernet and RAM options of up to 8 GB DDR4 and storage of 128 GB.

A Box that must be taken into account that it does not have certificates for paid streaming platforms, so we can only view them in basic quality.

Only 2.4GHz WiFi channels are displayed and able to be accessed, worse the integrated Ethernet port is apparently not very fast = I could not go above 25Mbps download speed, even with 1Gbps fiber-optic connection at home… Read more »
