Today we came across the new XCY X67 mini PC. A small computer that we have already seen with other processors and now has the efficient Intel N100.
Inside the peculiar XCY X67 we can mount two 3.5″ HDD storage units by opening the upper area, in it we can store teras of multimedia such as movies or series. This mini PC also serves as a complete multimedia center for our living room TV and use it as a player directly. As operating system we can install a Linux distribution , OpenWRT to use it as a soft router and even Windows.
Undoubtedly a very flexible solution for those who want something versatile in their living room, plus with the Intel N100 we will have a minimum consumption without noise. You can see its performance in our reviews.
XCY X67 miniPC Specifications
This XCY X67 mini PC (also found as Topton N1 PRO) offers a new version with the Intel N100 manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four threads up to 3.4 GHz. For the graphics section we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with AV1 video codec up to 8K@30fps. A processor and GPU suitable for desktop use and multimedia consumption up to 4K.
For RAM we have a SODIMM DDR4 module expandable up to 32 GB. For storage we have a M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD slot up to 1 TB ideal for the OS and apps. In addition, inside the case we are allowed to mount two 3.5″ SATA 3.0 storage drives with support up to 40 TB. We also have dual fan system, one in the lower area and another against the CPU.
Other notable features
The XCY X67 mini PC includes for connectivity Wifi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 plus two Ethernet ports 2.5 GB for use as a router. We also have on the back of the box two USB 3.0 connectors, two USB 2.0, USB-C video outputs (DP PD), HDMI 2.0 , DP 1.4 with 4K@60fps HDR support, 3.5 mm audio jack and finally a power connector. It does not have internal wifi module, but it could be added via USB, we do have Wake On Lan support and Auto Power ON system if we have power failure.
On this hardware it is possible to install operating systems such as Linux, OpenWRT, iKuai, LEDE or even Windows 11 if we want to use it with more conventional desktop apps. A computer that in addition to NAS, can also be used to play multimedia, IPTV, KODI addons, SAMBA server or run light arcade emulators.
