From China we receive information about the first Wi-Fi 6 router of the Xiaomi brand, this new model is named Xiaomi AIoT Router AX3600 and has a peculiar design crowned with 7 external antennas. The central antenna is intended for AIoT, the artificial intelligence of things and with this antenna you can discover, connect and manage up to 248 devices automatically. The rest of the antennas are intended for the 2.4GHz and 5GH bands, and have power and noise amplifiers (PA and LNA) to comply with the Wifi 6 standard that promises a lower latency and slowness when many devices are connected.
The new Xiaomi AIoT Router AX3600 includes a processor a Hexa Core Qualcomm IPQ8071A that has four Cortex-A53 cores up to 1GHz and two NPU cores to manage AI and has 512MB of RAM + storage. The chip that manages the Wifi has the protocols IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab and reaches up to 2976 Mbps. This router also supports OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, Beamforming , IPv6 protocol and WPA3 encryption.
At the connector level, it does not fall short with a Gigabit Ethernet WAN (Auto MDI / MDIX) and three Gigabit LANs (Auto MDI / MDIX). The router is configured and updated with the Xiaomi MiWiFi app that is available for Android and iOS platforms and includes a NetEase UU game accelerator, on platforms such as PS4 and Switch.
