By surprise at IFA 2019 fair we have found a stand with the Xiaomi Mi Smart TV’s in European version, something that Xiaomi had already told us at the MWC this year. For now it seems that these new TVs will begin to be distributed at the end of the year in the German market through a local distributor although surely its sale will soon reach the rest of the countries of EU, since now these Xiaomi Smart TVs have tuners 100% compatible with countries in all Europe.
Surely Xiaomi has finally make an agreement with a manufacturer in Poland for these models specially prepared for Europe and will begin distribution in Germany, the closest country with the most powerful market. These models include triple tuner DVB-T2/S2/C with HVEC decoding that allows you to view 4K content without problems in all European regions in terrestrial and satellite protocols.
Also these Xiaomi Mi Smart TV’s have all the necessary certificates and permissions to see services such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube in 4K, they also have Google Chromecast integrated and HbbTV 2.0 system. The default operating system will be Android 9 Pie with Google Assistant system installed to control it and obviously has Google Play Store active.
The models available will be the Xiaomi Mi Smart TV 32″ with FullHD resolution and the top range Xiaomi Mi Smart TV 43″ and Xiaomi Mi Smart TV 55″ with panels with 4K resolution. For now we do not know prices and exact date for his market release.
