In this document we do not have more information about the device, only the standards it complies with regarding radio frequency emissions, electrical consumption, electromagnetic field and toxic substances are indicated. With the same reference MDZ-24-AA we can also see that the new Xiaomi Mi TV Stick has passed the certification in the Indian control department, so it is expected that it will also be distributed in that market, one of the most important for Xiaomi. Interestingly in the product description is called the MI TV STICK 2K, something very strange because any media player today reaches 4K without problems.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new Xiaomi Mi TV Stick maybe will include an AMlogic S905Y2 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The memory is 2GB DDR4 and the storage is 8GB eMMc. A low figures enough to use it as a streaming device, you can see how this processor performs in our Review of a similar S905Y2, a SoC much more powerful than the S905X-L of the current Mi Box S.
At the wireless connectivity level we have WiFi aC Dual band and Bluetooth 4.0. At the connector level, given its size, we only have an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB Type-C port and a micro USB for power. A Bluetooth remote control with microphone for Google Assistant voice assistant is included with the Stick.
