The new Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro tablet has been unveiled, the top-of-the-line version of this family of Xiaomi products, offering a slight evolution over the Pad 7 Pro.
The most significant change is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, an upgrade that offers performance improvements by moving from 4nm to 3 nm, giving us good overall performance. The screen remains exactly the same with a size of 11.20 inches and 3.2K resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and compatibility with Dolby Vision and HDR10. It also has a battery that increases to 9200 mAh, offering 67 W fast charging and wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 technology.
The operating system is Android 16 with the latest customized Xiaomi HyperOS 3 layer. The device offers a stylus and optional magnetic keyboard if needed.
Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro specifications
This Xiaomi tablet includes the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (SM8750-AB) Octa Core SoC manufactured in 3nm, which is responsible for powering the system. Inside this chip, we find a configuration of two clusters, the fastest with two Oryon cores reaching 4.32 GHz and a second with six Oryon cores reaching 3.53 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 830 that reaches 1.1 GHz, enough for any demanding game.
This tablet comes in versions with 8/12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and options with 128/256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 or 4.1 storage memory .
Screen and other features
The Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro tablet has an 11.2-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2136 x 3200 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, 800 nits brightness, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. As usual, it is compatible with the brand’s stylus and Dolby Vision and HDR10 technology.
The front camera is 32 MP and on the back we have a 50 MP camera with a small LED flash. In terms of audio, there are four Hi-Res speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos and four microphones. There is also a USB-C 3.2 port, Wi-Fi 7 wireless connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.4. The battery is 9200 mAh and has 67 W fast charging. It measures 251.2 x 173.4 x 5.8 mm and weighs 485 or 494 g.
