It seems that lately they give away the SoC Allwinner H618 and is that we do not stop seeing in the eastern market TV-box with this chip as the YLW.
The b is a very generic TV Box that includes the low-cost Allwinner H618 processor, a small evolution of the Allwinner H616 that brings support for Android 12 and hardware decoding for the AV1 codec. The rest of the hardware of this box is the one we can find in others of its class. It allows us to use this box as a 4K multimedia center without problems or to install, use apps of all kinds or run games without too much demand with respect to graphics.
As always remember that in this type of TV-Box updates will be conspicuous by their absence and that we cannot recommend its purchase.
Specifications of the Android Box YLW
Inside the Smart Box YLW we have an Allwinner H618 SoC of which we do not know its manufacturing process and other details. This is a chip that integrates 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU.
Of this Smart Box we have the usual versions with 2/4 GB of RAM DDR3 and 16/32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card slot included in one of its sides.
Other features
In the field of wireless connectivity we have dual band Wifi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors we find in its plastic box the typical 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 network connector, an analog audio and video output jack and finally an HDMI 2.0a video output port that allows us to output video up to 4K@60fps resolutions.
Delivered with the TV-Box YLW a simple infrared remote control, power supply and HDMI cable to start using this Box just by taking it out of the box and connecting it to our TV.
