New box of cheap range that appears by AliExpress under the name of Z95, this time based on the Allwinner H616 SoC.
The Z95 is the typical generic Chinese Box that is only attractive in its price, since its hardware is the same that we find in many others and for which we will surely not have any type of firmwares support. Its Allwinner H616 SoC has enough power to move KODI and all kinds of apps, including games, IPTV or emulators, but it does not have certificates to use the apps of paid streaming platforms in maximum video quality, nothing to use Netflix in 4K for example. Another low-end TV-Box with low-end hardware and support despite including Android 10.0 as a system.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Smart TV-Box Z95 includes the Allwinner H616 SoC that integrates ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM Mali-G31MP2 GPU capable of decoding video up to 4K UHD resolutions at 60fps without problems.
We have different versions of this Smart TV-Box available with 2/4 GB of DDR4 RAM and 16/32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader that this Chinese Box includes on one of the sides of its plastic box.
Other specs
In the field of wireless connectivity in the Box we have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we have in its square box we find 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 network connector, analogue audio and video output jack, a SPDIF digital audio interface and an HDMI 2.1 video port. With the accessories we also find as usual a basic quality IR remote control to be able to start using this Smart TV-Box from the first moment.
