Motorola, a member of the Chinese Lenovo group, has just unveiled a new mid-range budget handset, the moto g 100s, which for now is only available in China.
A terminal that is basically the eastern version of the moto G57 Power in which we find a good 7,000 mAh battery. It keeps the Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor manufactured in 4 nm, which gives it great energy efficiency. To give you an idea of the power of this new Qualcomm SoC, it has an Antutu v10 score of around 540,000 points.
Its body maintains the design of the latest smartphones presented by Motorola, such as the Moto G 2026 and is certified against falls, water, dust and splashes of the IP64 standard and specific for China. As operating system, we have Android 16.
Moto g 100s specifications
The integrated responsible for moving this new smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor manufactured in 4nm. An Octa Core chip with 4 high performance Qualcomm Kryo processors (Cortex-A78) that reach 2.6 Ghz and 4 efficient Qualcomm Kryo (Cortex-A55) that reach 1.8 GHz. The iGPU is an Adreno of which we do not have specific data at the moment. A processor with a power to move apps without problems and games at medium level.
In this Motorola we have versions with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM soldered on the board and for storage we find 128 / 256 GB UFS 2.2, with the option to expand it up to 2 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader included.
Display, cameras, and battery
This Motorola sports an IPS display with a size of 6.72 inches (ca. 17 centimeters) with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, high refresh of 120 Hz, peak brightness of 1050 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The front camera is 8 MP, the main rear one has a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor, an 8 MP wide-angle, 2 light sensors and an LED flash.
We also have Wi-Fi 5 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, 5-in-1 GPS, 5G modem with Dual SIM and the battery is 7000 mAh with 30 W fast charging. We have a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer, a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button and the audio system consists of stereo speakers.
