A new update for Amazon Fire TV devices is now being rolled out, this time featuring a redesign of the home screen.
Without a doubt, the Fire OS system has recently been the subject of controversy due to its limitations on installing apps and the launch of the even more limited Vega OS. Today, it seems that they want to improve the user experience a little by offering a new launcher that we cannot change.
The base system remains unchanged in terms of version; this is merely a cosmetic improvement, with the OS remaining as intrusive and closed as ever, whether on Fire TV Sticks, Boxes, or Smart TVs with Fire OS.

This update offers us the same amount of promotional content on the home screen. But we have a slightly longer list of apps, which is appreciated. On the other hand, the top icons have also been updated, closely resembling those we have in the latest version of Google TV released a few days ago.
