It seems that HBO Europe begins to update its app with widely demanded functions and as a novelty in its latest version 3.7.0 for mobile phones we have the inclusion of local downloads to be able to see the content later. The app that includes this option is the version for mobile phones or tablets that is compatible with almost all TV-Boxes and with this possibility we can take our device with the preloaded series or movies to consume them in any place without connection.
The process of downloading series or movies on HBO Europe locally is simple, we just have to go to the content that interests us and click on the arrow to the right to start the download. At the bottom of the app we have a download icon where we can access all the content that is saved locally, once the playback of a chapter has started, the content will be deleted in 48 hours.
As we can see, not all content can be downloaded due to different copyright issues. so we will have to take it into account. We hope that the improvements in the HBO app continue because it still has a lot to fix such as image quality, usability of the environment, searches, filters and user profiles.
