MediaTek presents Helio G90 and Helio G90T two cheap chips for gamers

Mediatek has just presented its new SoC Helio G90 and Helio G90T chips oriented according to the brand to terminals with an affordable price and suitable for running next-generation games. Some SoC manufactured in 12nm FinFET that include Mediatek technologies designed to improve the gaming experience such as its Rapid Response Engine, which improves the speed of the touch screen response, the Resource Management Engine that redirects the system’s demands towards the CPU o GPU or the Networking Engine capable of balancing WiFi and 4G-LTE in search of the highest possible speed and even connect to two routers at the same time.

Helio G90

Helio G90

The Helio G90 SoC is an Octa Core with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 processors capable of reaching 2.0Ghz and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 that reach 2Ghz and in the graphic section we have an ARM Mali-G76mp4 GPU with a top speed of 720Mhz This SoC is capable of managing up to 8GB of LPDDR4X-2133 memory and eMMC 5.1 / UFS 2.1 storage. It is compatible with screens up to 2520 × 1080 pixels, includes a Cat-12 4G-LTE modem and 2 APUs for iA that reach 750MHz. In photography it is capable of supporting a 64MP camera or a dual 16MP + 24MP system

Helio G90T

The Helio G90T SoC is an overclocked version of the G90 SoC where the ARM Mali-G76 GPU reaches 800GHz and perhaps the ARM-Cortex-A76 cores reach a higher speed, although this point has not been specified by Mediatek. Also note that the screen refresh reaches up to 90Hz compared to 60Hz reached by the Helio G90 and is capable of managing up to 10GB of RAM.
