It seems that FAKE boxes are making a strong comeback on AliExpress, and the MORTAL T1+ is a prime example of this. Cheap, uncertified hardware being sold as something far superior.
This device already gives us clues about its deception by using the low-end Rockchip RK3518 SoC, a cut-down version of the Rockchip RK3528, which has very limited performance. This box is advertised with no less than 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but this is false; it will undoubtedly be 2 16 GB at most. It is also advertised as supporting Netflix and Disney on the remote control, but this is also a lie.
Its operating system also tells us that it is Android 16, but it is actually Android 14. As we can see, a pile of falsehoods that make it MORTALLY FAKE. Don’t expect anything good from it.
MORTAL T1 Specifications
This small Android TV box includes a low-cost Rockchip RK3518 processor. This chip is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a modest ARM MALI-450 MP2 GPU up to 750 MHz. This hardware will run apps quite slowly.
As for RAM and storage, it is most certainly FAKE, so don’t expect more than 2 16GB even if it says otherwise. With its micro SD reader, we can expand the storage in any case.
Other notable features
In terms of wireless connectivity, it claims to have Wi-Fi 6 with an internal antenna and Bluetooth 5, but we also have our doubts about this. In terms of connectors, its small plastic box contains a USB-A 3.0 port, micro SD reader, and an HDMI 2.0 video output port that allows for 4K@60fps resolutions.
This small box comes with a compact Bluetooth remote control with a microphone for giving commands. It also has a power supply and HDMI cable so you can connect it to your TV.
