The new Nothing Phone (4b) is now available for pre-order. It’s an evolution of the Nothing Phone (4a) that features slightly lower specs in some areas and, most notably, a redesigned back panel, highlighted by the “Glyph Bar” notification bar with 45 individually controlled mini-LEDs.
It’s powered by the 4-nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 octa-core processor, designed to run most apps and games smoothly, and, for reference, scores around 1,000,000 points on Antutu v11. The RAM integrated onto the motherboard is 8 GB of LPDDR4X, and for storage, it offers 128 GB of UFS 2.2, which cannot be expanded via a microSD card.
The Nothing Phone (4b) display is a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2344 x 1200 pixels, a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. On the camera front, it features a 50 MP OIS main rear camera supported by an 8 MP wide-angle lens and an LED flash, while the front-facing camera is 16 MP.
For audio, there are two speakers and two microphones, and the battery is 5200 mAh with fast charging up to 33 W. For connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6, NFC, 5-in-1 GPS, and a 4G/5G modem with dual SIM (NO eSIM). In terms of ports, it features a USB-C 2.0 port, and the fingerprint reader—used to unlock the smartphone and for other functions—is integrated beneath the display. The device is built to meet IP64 certification standards and weighs 210 grams.
Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with the brand’s custom UI, Nothing OS 4.1, which guarantees 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches.
