It has already gone on sale in China the new OPPO A3i, a terminal of this well-known brand with a price in that country that does not reach $149 and that surprises for its resistant body but with traditional design.
The main attraction of this new OPPO seems to us its body, since it has IP54 certification that makes it resistant to contact with water and dust, to some extent. The novelty that hides is the addition of an anti-shock structure prepared to withstand falls of up to 1.5 meters high. Despite this reinforced body we have a weight of only 187 grams and a thickness of 7.68 mm.
As SoC has been chosen the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a processor present in the mid-low range quite solvent that relieves and exceeds the Dimensity 6100 and the operating system is Android 14 with the layer of OPPO ColorOS 14. The rest of the specifications are fairly common, although it deserves mention its fast charge of 45 W and the refresh of 120 Hz.
OPPO A3i Specifications
This new budget smartphone has as its backbone a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor manufactured in 6 nm by TSMC. This chip is an Octa Core with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 processors that reach 2.4 Ghz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is an ARM Mali-G57 MC2 that reaches 950 Mhz and with which we will have no problems when moving most games.
The RAM memory is 8/12 GB LPDDR4X although we can virtually expand it up to 24 GB with the storage memory. For storage we have 256 GB eMMc 5.1 that we can expand via micro SD slot up to 1 TB.
Display and other features
Its display is a 6.67-inch IPS with an HD resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels, maximum brightness of 1000 nits, 120 Hz refresh, 20.15:9 aspect ratio and includes light and proximity sensors.
For selfies we have on the front a 5 MP camera that complements the main 50 MP rear and a secondary 2 MP camera with LED flash. We also have a fingerprint reader on one side, 5G NR /4G LTe connectivity with Dual SIM, Dual Band Wifi aC, Bluetooth 5.3 and GPS 5 in 1 for precise positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new OPPO we find a 3.5 mm audio jack and USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging. The battery is 5100 mAh and supports SuperVOOC, VOOC, PD2.0 fast charging protocols up to 45W.
Price and where to buy
