From the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics 2019 we know a new laptop called PiPo N123, a product of a brand previously quite popular but currently in the background. This laptop certainly stands out for mounting an ARM processor such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 a version of the Snapdragon 845 of the year 2018 oriented to the sector of the laptops that passed without glory. Now it seems that Chinese manufacturers enter this sector with a 2-in-1 with Windows 10 ARM assembling an interesting model although with tough competition with x86 processors that have support for Windows 10 without emulation.
Processor, RAM and storage
The PiPo N123 mounts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor manufactured in 10nm, with eight Kryo 385 cores that reach up to 2.95 Ghz and an Adreno 630 GPU capable of playing and capturing 4K video. We also have 8 GB of RAM on board, an SSD with 128/256 GB configurations that does not seem expandable and we have an SD card slot.
Display and other specifications
The screen of the PiPo N123 is an IPS with variants of 12.3, 13.3, 14 and 15.6 inches with resolution 3000 x 2000 pixels that includes in its upper part a webcam of 5MP with microphone and in the back part another of 13MP. We also have dual band WiFi connectivity with Bluetooth and a battery with 7.6 V / 5000 mAh capacity. As for connectors we have a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, SD card reader, dedicated charging port and a SIM slot that allow us to using the X20 4G LTE modem that integrate this SoC.
Price and availability
- PiPo N123 has no departure date but its price can be around $400 depending on the screen and integrated disk.
